If you are looking for a truly interesting activity for your group or organization, New Heights has a group rock climbing adventure to fit your needs. Rock climbing is a great way to bring your group together.

Get Vertical

Our instructors will lead your group on a fun two-hour introduction to the world of rock climbing. The instructors will take care of all the safety checks and belaying while you climb. Our instructor to student ratio is 1 to 6.

Policies: Reservations and a nonrefundable deposit are required to schedule an event. A two week lead time is generally requested. If you r group is under the age of 18, we require one chaperone for every eight climbers. There is no charge for the required chaperones, if they wish to climb. All climbers must complete our liability waiver and rules agreement. Climbers under 18 must have the forms signed by a parent or legal guardian. Hours, rates and policies are subject to change, call to verify.

 

Going to New Heights
An introduction to climbing

This two-hour introductory class is designed for groups. You will learn the basic safety skills required for climbing at New Heights. New Heights instructors will guide your group as they learn how to put on a climbing harness, tie the rope into the harness, safety checks, top rope belaying, and basic vertical movement. Upon successful completion of this class, a climber will will have the skills required to belay at New Heights during Community Climb.
Our instructor to student ratio is 1 to 6.

Cost: Please call for pricing. The cost will include all of the required equipment for climbing and the instructor fees for this class. Each student will receive a coupon for a free afternoon or evening pass, valid if they pass their belay check within two weeks of completing the class.

 

Birthday Parties
Get Vertical Birthday Party

Make your next birthday a real adventure. New Heights instructors will guide your birthday group through two hours of rock climbing excitement. We start the kids out on our "easier" instruction wall. As they climb they search for the candy hidden on the wall. After they have climbed the instruction wall the group graduates to the main climbing walls. When you are finished with your two hours of climbing you may use another area of our gym for your party. If you want to bring in a birthday cake or pizza, that’s fine. The birthday person gets a free pass for either an afternoon or evening session climb. Our staff to climber ratio is 1 to 6.
